Every accessory is handmade in London using carefully sourced fabrics including deadstock velvet, silk and heritage tweed.

About our founder

Kelly came from a tutu-making background. Bobbinet, silk, boning, tulle, rhinestones — layer by layer until something so spectacular and joyous comes together that you start wondering how the living room would look if you swapped out the Laura Ashley lampshades. That instinct, for foundations being as important as the finish, for the detail that makes something extraordinary, is what Goodnight Irene is made of.

About our name

Goodnight Irene is an old expression meaning “that’s the end of that.”

Playful, familiar and full of character, the name felt right from the beginning. A little nostalgic, slightly mischievous and unmistakably British.

Much like the brand itself.
